Access to and from the site will benefit considerably from the NSW government’s Western Sydney infrastructure plan, a $3.6 billion government initiative set to provide 61km of new or upgraded roads in the next 10 years. Included in this plan over the short to medium term is the M12, a new six lane motorway to run parallel to Elizabeth Drive, translating into significant reductions in travel times to the M7 and M5, the Southern Link Road, a new four lane highway that will connect First Estate to the M4 and M7 and the widening of The Northern Road. Planning is also underway for the widening of Mamre Road to potentially six lanes, providing superior access between the M4 and Baderys Creek.
